It took some carefully planned channel surfing to catch both the Oilers/Ducks game and the Giants Memorial Cup game last night. Check out Brule's shorthanded goal - its a beauty:

That was a pretty sweet goal. Some pretty interesting storylines developing at the Memorial Cup. What's with Patrick Roy picking on all the goalies in the tournament. Nice Patrick, just because you have been called the best goalie to ever play doesn't give you the right to rip into a bunch of teenagers. Time for you to ferme la bouche.

Looks like Roy's strategy to trash talk the kids has worked to his advantage as his Quebec team advanced to the final last night. Big game today with Vancouver and Peterborough battling to advance.

You are too politically correct. Roy's team won the Memorial Cup - he did what he had to do. He was right in doing it because it allowed his team to win. Call it intimidation, call it whatever you want. It all comes down to winning and nothing else matters. Roy is a genius.
