Please tell me you aren't that lone vote for Miller, let's get realistic. It is an NHL award to a deserving foe and however you look at it Miller is off the list. That being said, as always Nabokov is a pretty good favourite, but I hate when goalies get it when they have an amazing team in front of them even if they are a really talented netminder.

I say right now the race is between three guys, Kipper, Mason and Backstrom. The premier and latter both have decent teams but not amazing teams playing infront of them and usually need to play very well to keep their teams in it. Mason on the other hand, has argueably the worst franchise in the NHL playing in front of him, and is somehow pulling of unreal numbers (It is a freak thing for all goalies in Columbus I find.). Although Mason is a rookie he definitely isn't to be ruled out of Vezina contentions by any means.

If Huet can get a vote then I fail to see the issue with voting for Miller.

unfortunatly axey is right the winning goalie usually has a very good record and is normally top three in the league with that being said guys like miller price huet backstrom will probally not even be considered, that leaves it up to top finishing boston (thomas), sharks (nabby) flames (kipper) and maybe detroit (osgood), this meathod leaves out great tenders like mason and is unfortunate

If Mason plays anywhere near the level to this point, he should win hands down. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH HE WILL WIN. He Should win.

Think about this for a second, they were talking about Mason on TSN last night. If he comes through the rest of the year with the same level of play and Columbus makes the playoffs, he has a chance to do something never achieved before.

If this comes through, he would most likely win the Calder, has a good chance at the Vezina, and has a good chance at the Hart.

Calder+Hart+Vezina has never been done before.

This is quite remarkable, let's hope he doesn't turn into a raycroft next season

Also, when I said Miller shouldn't get a vote there were basically no votes. He doesn't even start right now, and by no means should Huet get a vote as well.

Why do you have to be so argumentative. Miller is a solid goalie. To say he is completely out of it is just...not smart (to be nice). Even if I did actually vote for him so what. Are you going to try and chirp everyone who does not agree with your opinion?

Hostility I like it, but let's not get soft here. You say your opinion, I say mine that is what the site is for, it's sparks a debate and is the reason why you and me are both here. Take my bashing of your pick (if it is your pick, which by how you reacted, it must be) as a chance to speak and justify the reasoning behind your pick. Also realistically since you made this topic, and you put goalies that are performing alot better this season, which I know and you know, to vote for Miller is well just not smart (to be nice).

Oh Pasty my friend, how did I know it was you who voted for Huet.
