I heard this from a friend that in Beaumont outside of Edmonton they are hosting the worlds longest ball hockey game. This game is for a 18 yr old hockey player who broke his spine and is now fully paralyzed. I checked it out and they have live music, the longest game, and a dance on Saturday. If anyone is in Edmonton I would suggest you check it out and donate, it seems like the dance has cheap tickets and they need a ton of donations. It seemed like the whole community was out there watching and donating. I think id go saturday since the most is going on but just check it out, its goin nonstop till sunday.

speaking of ball hockey, I was playing in the Ontario ball hockey championships on the weekend in London, Ont. Was anyone else from the site involved in this at all? There were like 51 teams there, we finished 9th.
There is no "I" in team, but there is an "M" and an "E". |

Didn't make it out to that, but if you're from London we've been part of the Playon! road hockey sponsored by CBC for the last 2 years in London.....u?
