I hope Winnipeg because I feel bad for them losing their team plus I like having more Canadian teams. |

Well if Pittsburgh were to move to Winnipeg (which I would love because I'm from there), it wouldn't be because people feel sorry for the city. They have the facilities now with the recently-built MTS Centre and they have the crowds to fill the seats but Jim Balsillie and Gary Bettman both want to keep the team in Pittsburgh. |

I'm blown away that Pittsburg can't keep a team. look at all the talent they have had over the years and they've won a few cups. It's been a hockey city for decades. Must be tough competing for cash with the other pro teams in the city i guess.
I voted to have them stay put, but if I had to choose one...Winnipeg. I think they'd support them better this time around. Plus, as babs put it, they have a new building.
but bettman will go where the big money is, the US. And that's fine, if they are thinking long term. |

Could Seattle handle a NHL franchise? I've always wondered. they have everything else, football, baseball, soccer etc. And they are close to the Canadian border, certainly some hockey has rubbed off on them?

If they cant make it work in Pittsburgh then I would rather see them fold then move to another market. For all of you wanting them to move to Winnipeg - its never going to happen. That city had its chance and proved it could not support an NHL team.
And as far as an American city goes, the last thing I want to see is another city that doesn't care about hockey get a franchise. |

Although, moving the team to Winnipeg would be nice. They are a real hockey city. |

I think Pittsburgh should stay there because there a team with history a team that won stanley cups and those cups didnt come to long ago. Plus a city that won a cup has never lost its team since the NHL formed

I think the Pens should stay in Pittsburgh, but if they have to move they should go to Winnipeg. |
