38 year old Peter Bondra signed with the Chicago Blackhawks. He has missed training camp and the first 2 months of the season - so its anyones guess at how effective he will be. $500,000 is basically league minimum so its not that big of a risk for Chicago. And with Havlat back from injury, they could puch for a playoff spot.

Yes, I think this is a great deal for Chicago and another chance for Bondra, I think he has some more left in him for sure.

In 37 games he has 26 points. Thats pretty good and it is helping the team some.

I agree. I don't think he was excpected to score a goal every game. I think he was just bought as a decent player to help his team.
