Fedoruk got hit with one good shot that hit him just in the right place. However, did you notice that he fractured his cheek bone, went down, and got right back up? I went to High School with him unitl he went to play in Kelowna. He is one tough S.O.B.
That being said, Laraque is the best fighter in the league. |

definatly chara he has size over everyone and he demolished mccabe. mccacbe is a terrible fighter though. Chara doesnt fight as often any more cuz hes the captain now and he has other duties but when he does i have money on him that he will demolish anyone who dares to fight him. I also like in last years playoffs when he was standing over lecavalier with his fist ready to punch him right in the face. |

I wonder what was going through Lecavalier's mind in that moment. I'm thinking he saw his life flashing before his eyes. |

LOL
Anyone who had a 6-foot 9-inch hockey player standing over them about to punch them would probably think the same thing. |

Yeah Ruutu's great, I saw all these videos on YouTube of him fighting. I especially like the one where he and Dion Phaneuf get started, then Phaneuf trips over his own feet. |

Laraque no doubt, remember this poll is who can FIGHT best. What I mean is that Laraque Punches alot more and hes not too tall. Fighting is not throwing a guy around or messing around with his jersey while you clobber them in the head. |

You guys will like this. The Vancouver Province is running a poll called "The NHL's All Time Champ". You have to go to their website to see profiles on all the contenders. They've already run Round 1, cutting the field from 32 to 16 combatants. The results are based on reader's votes plus votes from a list of "experts". Check it out here: http://www.canada.com/theprovince/features/champ/index.html
Click on View the Voting Schedule to see the round by round break down, or just go to http://www.canada.com/theprovince and navigate to either Sports or the Editor's Picks to see all the options. |

I said Laraque, although he has the advantage of outsizing everyone. |

What about the reason Edmonton traded Laroque away? Patrick Thoreson is a pretty tough cookie. I know I wouldn't want to run in to him on the street. I think Brashear was the most dominant 6 or 7 years ago, but currently, I think the toughness factor would go to Chara, due to his stature. |

I think Andrew Peters is doing well this season but right now it has to George Laraque. |

Wow, thisis an oldie. I last posted here as a guest ( i was guest 4785) I said Boogard then but he has been quiet in the last couple of months. I would choose Laraque, but a strong argument could be made for Ben Eager in Philadelphia.

You must not know much about the physical asset hockey demands to win. Just joking!
I would love to have Laraque on my team if I were an NHL GM. He creates a physical essence/aura and spreads it through the team. His style pf play makes for fast paced, gritty hockey. If you aren't physical in games you won't win. |

I'm a fan of Laraque and Chara. Chara is my current favorite Defencemen in the NHL. Both are tough, and i'd not wish to meet either of them on the ice.
- All time best D-man, Ray Bourque!! 77 baby.

Laraque also brings a scoring touch to the game. At the end of the season he can have 15 goals and a lot of penalty minutes.

Parros of Anaheim is good for a fight. Bryan McCabe has been beaten by much smaller players than Chara.
The Oil WILL make the playoffs. |
