With only 3 games left there's not a chance he'll hit 50. One scenario would mean three multi-goal games with at least 2 of them being hattie's. Gretzky and Bossy would have a hard time doing that.

I'd be happy to eat my words, but I don't think I'll have to.

While I agree it's unlikely he'll be able to reach 50, the Pens have 7 games remaining, not 3.

For Syd 8 goals in 7 games in certainly doable; he has had hotter streaks.

Did you hear about the retired proctologist? He spent 40 years saying "what's a place like this doing in a girl like you?"

My guess is he falls short, in the 47/48 range? But would I be shocked if he nailed it? NOPE!
