OK babs and KariyaSelanne, let's see what everyone thinks: Who's going to have the most points at the end of the regular season?

i think Sabres because they got a talented goalie, lots of offensive power and good defense. They are a very well rounded team. I think the other teams will still finish high up in the standings but you never know. |

PREDATORS ALL THE WAY! If they stay out of injuries, even if one of there goalies gets injured it doesn't have an effect, both there goalies are great.

I'm saying Preds because they have the weakest division, and with so many games left against them, should win most of em.
Buffalo has to play teams like Ottawa, Montreal, and the Leafs who seem to have Buffalo's number!
SJ has Anaheim and Dallas....not easy either
Go Sens Crosby is God Tucker is a douche |

The Leafs are 10th in the East...they're not so hard to beat. The Sens and the Canadiens will be tough though... |

your saying the Leafs and Avalanche are tough teams? Like i know they don't suck but they don't compare to those other names like Ducks,Sharks,Red Wings etc. |

I agree with Novie. The Preds have the easiest go at the title. But I also think that the Ducks are gunna be first team in the leauge at the end of the regular season. |

tell, that to your precious Sabres, who keep losing to Toronto.....Face it, the leafs will finish eighth, play buffalo in the 1st round, and eliminate them......a month and a half later, toronto will be in th finals, and capture the cup...(Ok, so I'm dreaming a bit)
I think anaheim will lead (or San jose)..the sabres haven't been heroic lately, and miller is very overrated (cept that save he made against Boston was unreal), but they still are the best in the east (but keep your eye on the devils, they are sneaky good)

Every team has their slumps, including the Sabres.
The Leafs haven't won any more games against the Sabres than the Sabres have won against the Leafs. They've played four and each won two. I said the Leafs are not that hard to beat, I didn't say they were easy to beat. |

LOL I have to agree, sadly...Miller is sucking lately. He's been letting in goals that he should've been able to block. I hope he gets back with the program lately because now Buffalo's tied with Anaheim and the Preds lead by 5 points... |

If he keeps this up, do you think, they should start Biron more?

I think now is the time to let Miller rest and play Biron. He's shown he can handle it and Miller might be in over-drive. Give him a few games off, let him recharge and see what happens. |

There is a lot to say about the scheduled. I say that San Jose is the best team of the three, with Buffalo being a some what close second. However, the schedule favors Nashville to get more points at the end of the year.
However, with the tightness of the Northwest and, mediocre or not, the strength of the NW teams at home, Nashville will likely play Minnesota, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Calgary in the first round. I don't think Colorado will be there and who knows where each of those teams will be seeded at the end. It is a pretty fair assessment that the 3rd, 7th and/or 8th spot in the west will be teams from the Northwest. But, Nashville playing any of those teams in the first round of the playoffs will be a tough match up. They may finish first in the West and it is not very far fetched to think the will get knocked out in the first round. As an Oiler fan, I wouldn't mind finishing 8th and playing Nashville. I would rather play Nashville in the first round than San Jose, Anaheim, or Detroit. Those three are the true strength in the West and one of those three will be the rep from the West for the Cup. |

I agree Nashville will have a tough time beating the NW division teams especially Calgary and Vancouver cause they have Luongo and Kiprusoff but sadly Edmonton doesn't have that strong of goaltending in Roloson, but who knows maybe he will play like he did last year in the playoffs. |
