Tired after a game? If I had a game right before bed it took me like 3 hours to settle down enough to sleep. |

Well I know this is of ALL-TIME and I also know he's only played < 2 seasons but I figure that he has as much skill if not more than any other player we've selected, he just hasn't yet played enough games to prove it. |

Man I'm actually surprised at how well this draft is going. I think we should do this same thing for a real pool for the playoffs and/or next season. |

Bab's, I mean no disrespect to your Crosby pick. If the critics are right. He will have an amazing career. Or, he get's hit by a bus tomorrow and he won't. I guess I think he's a little unproven over a length of time.
Could also be the steal of the draft. |

Fair enough, I knew people would be skeptical. But some of the legends only played 300-400 games in their careers and you can't deny that even at this age, Crosby has more skill than a large proportion of players in history. Of course technically he could just be some fluke that does well for a few years and that's all we'll ever hear of him but he's proven it at every level he's ever played in his life and even for his brief NHL life, that already he deserves to be considered among the greatest. |

Agree to disagree Bab's.
Swithing gears, isn't it Grand that 5 Oilers from the 80's were picked in the top 40 players???? Bet there are a couple more to come as well. Ah, to be part of a Dynasty! |

6 Cups, 214 play off points, and 5 playoff OT game winning goals. Only the Rocket had more.
Anderson and Ciccarelli had pretty much the same PPG average in the reg season, Dino had 110 more goals. But Anderson's play-off performances are what legends are made of.
But again, growing up and learning hockey in the 80's in Edmonton, I am bias.
Let's not forget, he was getting 3rd line minutes for a decade in Edmonton. |

Don't forget Dino is a celebrity...he spent a night in jail, don't they all, I saw him play Junior in London, and I was not a big fan of him, but I think both of them will be in the Hall one day...

I am surprised, I think about 20 or so out of the first 88 picks played for Toronto at one time...and I only selected two of them...
