I debated taking Dionne but I looked at a few hockey sites and most of them had ranked Jagr as a better player than Dionne, even though Dionne has one of the highest points-per-game averages ever. I never saw him play so I'm trusting the experts on this one. Plus, Jagr is as good as they come, so why not...

I had Dionne on my list as well. Thought I might be able to steal him later.

I am thinking that Puck and Willus will be taking my "stealer" picks.

Damn you old fellers!

There are still so many great players to pick from. With only ten teams every team here should be very impressive when done.

You are right, the poll should be interesting, as I look at the teams everyone seems to have a plan, and they all seem different, that is good and will make for an interesting finish...

Some interesting strategies showing up. Babs seems to be building the team of olde. Some are going down the all time points list. I have no idea what Miks plan is. That wasn't meant to be offensive, i just haven't quite figured your choices out yet.
It's getting interesting now.

Ha I find it interesting you think I'm building a team of olde... Well I do have Jagr and my next pick is going to be an active player. I honestly don't have any strategy, I'm using a bunch of things to base my decision on like points lists, points-per-game lists, different top 10/50 players lists and for more recent players I use my memory. I'm not going by defense like you Willus or like Beans on offense, I'm just trying to stay balanced all over (I guess that could sort of be a strategy). I'd much rather have an equally good team than a VERY strong offense and weak (relatively speaking) defense or vice-versa.

I had my eye on Robinson as well. It was between him and Tony Esposito as my next pick and they were both taken before. I also wanted Adam Oates and Brett Hull. Putting them back together would have been good for my teams high octane offence. You guys are totally screwing up my picks. Quit it!

Maybe, if you all don't mind I will just do all my picks at once and you can take who ever is left.

Sound good???

Yeah! Finally! I have posted my picks, Semin you're up again! (Europe again...when was the first time you went? OK, that one was terrible...lol )

If I really wanted to be funny with this draft I'd pick all players with -chuk in their last name. I've always found it funny that so many NHLers have -chuk names, LOL
