There are alot of players who should be on there like Pouliot,Hemsky,Sykora,Brodziak (who scored his 1st carer NHL goal tonight) and others but i would say Pouliot with Nilsson a close second because i have been very impressed with how Pouliot is playing, he plays a strong 2 way game in my mind and also has put up some points. I was also pretty impressed with Nilsson because i was lucky enough to have tickets the game where he made his Oilers debut and scored, I found he had pretty good speed kind of like a Sergei Samsonov type player but that game might have been just a fluke. |

If you mean that are playing rite now then i have to say Torres but when the injury bug is done it's Jarret Stoll no question. He has played the most concistent after Smyth left |

Torres is a joke. He was the worst Oiler on the ice during the Wild game on Thursday. I can't understand what people see in him. He's a defensive liability, and his streaky offense doesn't cut it. He takes stupid penalties and the worst times. What positives does he bring to the team?? |

I would have to say, in terms of consistency, Jarret Stoll all the way. He is a dominating face-off winner, a great shooter, and works hard all night. When Hemsky and Smyth were injured, he carried the team. In terms of skill, Hemsky all the way. He makes these amazing moves in games that, unfortunately, don't end up in goals, but they at least intrigue the crowd. Finally, in terms of a game changer and/or saver, it's the goalie, Roloson. He has been struggling to be very consistent the season, but when called upon, he has been outstanding for the Oilers. Too bad our offense and defence suck.. |

The question is right now and Stoll hasn't played since Feb.1 and Hemsky has only played one game in the last 3 weeks. |

Raffi is a great player, lots of heart and lots of grit, he may take some dumb penalties but at least he does not cheapshot anyone like Latendresse.

I partied hard when the Oilers traded Cory Cross last year. I partied harder when Bergeron when the NYI. But nothing, no party will every match the party I will have when Torres leave the Oilers. Worst player in the league. |

The genius above needs to look at the date the Sykora post was posted. It was when he was still on the team.
Anyhow, my two cents.
Horcoff is the best player on the team right now, proved by his All-Star nomination. Gagner probably has the most potential.

Horcoff for me too. No particular reason other than I simply like how he plays. |

How about captain Ethan Moreau? They've lost what, like one game since he's been back. They look like a new team, and as an Avs fan i'll admit: I'm worried. |

Cogliano right now 3 OT goals in 3 games. NHL record amd Gagner with a close second.
Good defense is good offense! |
