Who is the bes player in the Western conference?
Victory awaits him who has everything in order--luck, people call it. Defeat is certain for him who has neglected to take the necessary precautions in time; this is called bad luck.

I'll have to break this one into goalies and skaters.
Goalie: Luongo. He was the reason Vancouver made it in the playoffs, and into the second round. Although the Nucks were eliminated, he played great nonetheless. He's still in the top 5 post-season GAA, and played fewer games than the most of the other 4 (three of whom are on teams that are still in). Had Vancouver had anyone else in the net, they would've been swept (if they even managed to make the playoffs in the first place).
Skater: Datsyuk. He leads Detroit in playoff goals and was a key scorer during the season too. And that stickhandling--no one gets better than him there. |

The best goalie is easily Luongo The best skater comes down to either Sakic or Thornton, but since I'm a colorado fan I'm going to say Sakic
what do Calgary and a tea bag have in common- they're both only good for one cup |

Same goes for me. He changed the Sharks when he came to their linup, remember that both the Sharks and Bruins were doing bad at the time and they needed a shake-up. Thornton definatly made the Sharks become the powerhouse that they are today.
And Goalie is Luongo, no doubt.
When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;) |

I'm gonna think a couple of years down the road and say Ryan Getzlaf. Right now though I gotta go with Nick Lindstrom |
