Mezaros for Kuba, Picard and 1st roudn 2009. Comments?

TB then proceeds to sign Mezaros to a monster 6 year deal to ~$5M/year.

I'm guessing Tampa is hoping that the cap continues to increase in the up coming years with the large long term contracts they've been signing.

Right now I see advantage Ottawa.

i dont really like this trade for either team, i guess ottawa gets the 1st round pick so id say they win it.

I don't bring the controversey it comes to me.

It seems to me that TBay overpaid for Mezsaros. Are they making moves just to make moves?!? They are ready to play, they don't need to make anymore moves!

I really like Picard and think he will end up better than Meszaros when its all said and done. Kuba is solid.. I guess and you can never go wrong with a 1st round draft pick! Far too over paid, could've gotten alot more than what they got. Also 5 million? .. Has not proven that much at all to me. Insane, I don't get this, I hope the prices aren't ridiculous like this again next year or we are headed straight for another lockout.
