The habs have delt away Steve Begin to the Dallas Stars for Doug Janik
I think its obvious here that the habs are just trying to dump salary for a bigger move.

Too bad, I like Steve Begin, he captained city's former AHL team the Saint John Flames to a Calder Cup awhile back. It would have been nice to see him succeed for a strong playoff team.
On the other hand, it's just another reason for me to hate the Habs. Hopefully the Kostytsons get thrown in jail and Kovalev gets sent back home lol, |

more than just the Kostitsyn's will be having court dates thats a fact

| Begin is a UFA. Witht the Habs having 11 players in that situation, Bob is just lightening the off season load a little bit. Also getitng something for him while they can isn't a bad idea. I like Begin's style, but he was a perpetual healthy scratch. |
