Absolutely right on about the team defense, defense is the only thing that kept us in the series after the first nightmare game. After that game I thought it would be a sweep, especially the way Buff plays, and i was surprised NY could be so dominating defensively when they want, the only flip side to it was that they couldnt get the job done offensively when they needed to, not enough support from the 3 &4 lines like Buffalo has, and the 2 line was manhandled unlike the NY vs ATL series...
the upcoming series...Buffalo vs Ottowa...I couldnt even guess the outcome of this one, but it will be great series I can bet that...

Game day baby!!! We're only hours away from Buffalo-Ottawa Game 1 and I must say, I'm psyched as ever! This town is gonna be in a frenzy! It was crazier for the Rangers series than it was in 99 for the Cup Finals! I guess there are high expectations for the Sabes and anything less than the cup is unacceptable.

Dammit! 2-0 Ottawa! I hate the Senators with a passion, Buffalo needs to beat them. Maybe they'll come from behind like that one game against the Leafs.

Crap, Ottawa scored again. Miller's been looking good tonight, he's made some amazing saves. If only he could've made 3 more...
This announcer keeps pronouncing Spacek as "Spachuk", lol

I gotta say, I wish my town were in a frenzy. There's just not a lot of love for hockey here. Recently our local paper ran an article on the front page of the sports section. The writer was talking about how the Ducks don't get anywhere near enough public and media attention, considering they're the best performing pro sports franchise in the SoCal area in recent years. So true. I just wish I had the extra cash for game tickets. I'm saving it for the Stanley Cup though! |

| Ahh...tied 2-2. I've been watching Planet Earth all evening (awesome show BTW) since the game wasn't on, but I had to check the score. At least the Sens don't have the lead, but it was tied 2-2 last time and Ottawa charged ahead. Looks like Buffalo scored first though, they had 2 goals in the first period, so they were originally ahead. Ottawa tied it, but maybe this time the Sabres will charge ahead. Let's go Buffalo!! |

So the Sens lead the series 2-0. OK. The Sabres lead 2-0 in the second round and the Rangers caught up. Buffalo can do the same. I hope.
If the Sabres have to be kicked out, the one team I don't want to see them kicked out by is Ottawa. C'mon Buffalo, do your stuff. |

I swear, if Ottawa wins tomorrow...
There's a storm coming on Wednesday. The last thing I want is a sweep. It looks grim for Buffalo and I doubt they can win the series, but I just want them to win tomorrow. Not a sweep. |

Lol there actually was a thunderstorm today.
Anyway, Anaheim got pounded last night, and without Pronger they're gonna have it tough in the next game. Buffalo HAS to win tonight. I haven't been this nervous in awhile, lol. |
